Abstract

In April 2022, Central Java experienced inflation of 1.07 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 109.74. Of the six CPI cities in Central Java, all cities experienced inflation.
The main cause of inflation in Central Java in April 2022 is the increase in the prices of petrol, cooking oil, purebred chicken meat, cars and purebred chicken eggs. The main barrier to inflation in Central Java is the reduction in the prices of red chilies, cayenne peppers, rice, shallots and rates for online 4-wheeled vehicles.
