Gross Regional Domestic Product of Pekalongan Regency By Expenditure 2016 – 2020

One important indicator to determine economic conditions in a region in certain period is the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) data, both at current prices and at constant prices. GRDP is basically the amount of added value generated by all business units in a particular region, or is the sum of the value of the final goods and services produced by all economic units. GRDP at current prices illustrates the added value of goods and services calculated using the prevailing prices each year. Meanwhile, GRDP at constant prices shows the added value of goods and services which is calculated using the prices in a certain year as the basis. GRDP at current prices can be used to see the shift in the economic structure. GRDP at constant prices is used to determine economic growth from period to period (year to year or quarter to quarter). In this publication the base year used is 2010 which is expected to reflect the current economic structure.
