To ensure the quality of data for the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026), the Pekalongan Regency Central Statistics Agency (BPS) carried out a data collection review from 21 to 25 September 2026 at a number of economic hubs and busy public areas in Pekalongan Regency, particularly markets which serve as centres of economic activity for the community.
This activity forms part of efforts to ensure that all community economic activities are identified and included in the SE2026 data collection. Officers carried out on-site checks to minimise the possibility of any businesses being overlooked during the data collection process.
This survey is a crucial step in ensuring the completeness and quality of the data produced. Accurate and comprehensive data will provide a clearer picture of the state and dynamics of the economy in Pekalongan Regency.
More than just figures, the SE2026 data will be used to understand the structure and development of community economic activities and will serve as a key source of information to support planning and the setting of economic development priorities.
Through collaboration and meticulous attention to detail at every stage of data collection, the Pekalongan Regency BPS continues to strive to produce high-quality, comprehensive and reliable economic data.
Because effective development requires accurate data.
