Inauguration of the Pekalongan Regency BPS Office Building

Wednesday (24/4) the new Pekalongan Regency BPS office building was inaugurated, located in the Pekalongan Regency government office complex in Kajen.

Previously, the Pekalongan Regency BPS office located in Wiradesa experienced a fire disaster in 2018. Then, a land grant was handed over from the regional government to BPS in 2020. In 2021, the construction of land fill embankments plus a perimeter fence was carried out, followed by building construction. and part of the landscape in 2022.

The inauguration ceremony for the Pekalongan Regency BPS office was held at the Pekalongan Regency BPS office which was attended by a number of officials including the Secretary of State for BPS RI along with the Head of Bureau, Head of Pusdiklat, Head of STIS; Deputy for Political, Legal and Security Affairs of the Indonesian Cabinet Secretariat and staff; Administrative Assistant to the Pekalongan Regency Secretariat, Head of Central Java Province BPS and staff, Pekalongan Regency Forkompinda and Pekalongan Regency OPD.

In his speech, Atqo Mardiyanto as Secretary of State for BPS RI expressed the hope that the construction of the new building could increase comfort and improve the performance of BPS Pekalongan Regency.

"Hopefully it can be useful for the regional government, the people of Pekalongan in particular, and in general it will be useful for the nation and state," added Atqo.

The inauguration was carried out by signing an inscription by the Secretary of State of BPS, then sounding a siren as a sign of opening the curtains of the building, followed by cutting the jasmine garland. Then it closed with an office tour guided by the Head of BPS Pekalongan Regency, Siti Mardiyah and continued with hospitality.
